June is spelled C-O-L-O-R

 I look forward to June each year because it seems that almost every shrub and perennial in my yard is in bloom at once. Now is when the effects of good landscape design truly shine!

 Above: Blue Catmint contrasts nicely with the orange Sunrose ground cover.

Right: Pink and red shrub roses anchor the entrance to my backyard.

Below: The attractive dark foliage of my Elderberry shrub highlights the emerging bright green day lily foliage and the brilliant pink-red Jupiter's Beard flowers.
