2017 Tour of Design Work

Some highlights of landscapes recently completed. Congratulations to my clients on their beautiful yards!

Lovely mixed plantings of shrubs and perennials complement this craftsmen-style home. When I design a landscape, I stagger bloom periods of different plant materials so each yard has color throughout the growing season.

One key to functional design is allowing adequate space for mature shrubs and trees. This yard has been complete for a few years now and has filled in nicely without looking crowded.

A low-maintenance yard shows you can still have  color, texture, and visual interest
while minimizing time spent in upkeep.

Multiple levels of beds grace this home, helping to break up the home's lengthy facade.
Clients will be adding mulch to complete the project.

This client desired a cottage garden to complement her older home.
Long-blooming shrubs and perennials provide her with a constant source of cut flowers.
