Garden Inspiration

This last weekend, I spent time volunteering for  and attending the Utah Valley Hidden Garden Tour. Many landscape styles were on display--from Utah native to formal English gardens and everything in between. These gardens were inspirational and amazing. I'm posting some highlights here. I think they illustrate what a little imagination, effort and time can do in our outdoor living spaces.

A meandering stream cascaded through one property.

A mixed planter bed created a welcoming entrance for guests.

A wrought iron gazebo with swinging seats and a fire pit. Jupiter's Beard draws your eye to this gathering place.

Garden beds built out of large timbers flanked by a calming water feature.

Who says you have to have a retaining wall when you have slopes? Strategically placed boulders and groundcovers provide a creative alternative.
