Winter, winter, go away . . .

   Once the Christmas things are put away, I begin to think about gardening. And with our mild winter, I have even been able to get out and do a little pruning on some shade trees. For fruit trees and roses, it's best to wait until late February.
    But it's never too early to start planning-- whether it's vegetable garden beds or landscaping design.
